Thank you for welcoming ROO into your home. Here is everything you need to get the most from it.

How to use ROO

  1. Lay it flat. Press ROO onto a smooth counter. It grips on its own, with no suction cups or clips.
  2. Board on top, then chop. Put your cutting board on the mat. It fits boards up to 16 inches wide. Push scraps over the edge into the pouch as you go. The pouch holds 7 cups, so you can prep a whole meal before you empty it. Never cut directly on the mat.
  3. Lift and empty. When you're done, lift ROO off the counter and tip the scraps into the bin. Then rinse it and roll it into its bag.

Not gripping? Wipe the shiny underside of the mat and press it down again on a clean, smooth surface.

Care

  • Rinse it under the tap, with a drop of dish soap after anything oily.
  • It can go on the top rack of the dishwasher, but it doesn't need to. Hand rinsing keeps it like new for longer.
  • Keep it away from heat. ROO is not a trivet, so never set hot pots, pans or dishes on it, and keep it away from open flame, stovetops and ovens.

Warranty

The ROO mat has a limited lifetime warranty. If it tears, cracks or splits, or the pouch rips or loses its shape in normal home use, we replace it free for as long as you own it. The fitted board has a one-year warranty.
