Will it fit?

It works with the board you already own.

ROO sits under your board, so small, everyday and large boards all work.

Small, 8 x 11 in Everyday, 10 x 14 in Large, 12 x 16 in Bigger board? Send us a photo and we'll tell you.

You always cut on the board, never on the mat. A smooth, heavy board sits stillest.

Why ROO exists

“I made the first one to fix my own kitchen.”

Every time I cooked, my board slid and the scraps took over the counter. So I bought some silicone and made a mat that holds the board still, with a pouch at the edge for the mess.

I still use one at home every day, and I decided it belonged in other kitchens too. Every ROO we ship is made to the same standard as mine, and if one ever lets you down, I'll replace it.

Care

A rinse is all it needs.

Tip and rinse

Empty the pouch into the bin, then rinse the mat under the tap. Most days that is the whole job.

Soap only when it is oily

Veg scraps rinse straight off. After meat or anything greasy, a drop of dish soap and a quick wipe.

Skip the dishwasher

It can take the top rack, but it does not need it, and hand rinsing keeps it like new for longer. Air dry, roll into its bag. Keep hot pans off it: it is not a trivet.

Fitted board: hand wash, air dry, oil it now and then. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher.
